The Howling Void returns with the new EP "Advaita", written and recorded in a flash of inspiration during May of 2025. "Advaita" features The Howling Void's heaviest and darkest songs to date, thematically revolving around Advaita Vedanta, the Hindu philosophy of non-dualism made famous by Shankara in the 8th century AD. The EP maintains The Howling Void's signature synth-heavy funeral doom but adds a new dimension of heaviness and a truly funereal atmosphere. On this recording, Ryan is joined once again by Shane Elwell on session drums.
